How to View and Download Sales Reports

Step-by-step guide for owners and managers

📊 Analyzing Your Business Performance

Track daily, weekly, and monthly sales with detailed breakdowns by category, payment mode, and time. Make data-driven decisions about your menu and pricing.

  1. Tap Reports from the main menu The Reports dashboard opens showing today's totals: total orders, total revenue, payment mode breakdown (Cash, Card, UPI), and average order value.
  2. Switch between date ranges Use the date filter at the top to view Daily (default), Weekly, or Monthly reports. Tap a specific date to drill into that day's details. Compare week-over-week or month-over-month trends.
  3. Check category performance Scroll to the Category Sales section to see which menu categories generated the most revenue today, this week, or this month. Identify top-selling items and underperformers.
  4. View the peak hour chart The hourly orders chart shows your busiest windows (e.g., 12-1 PM lunch rush, 7-8 PM dinner). Use this to plan staff scheduling and prep quantities.
  5. Download or share the report Tap Export to download the report as PDF or CSV. Share it directly via WhatsApp to investors, co-owners, or your accountant. CSV exports work great for further analysis in spreadsheets.
💡 Pro Tips:
  • Review the previous week's report every Monday morning — identify slow items and plan promotions accordingly.
  • Check peak hours to schedule staff and prep: if lunch is busier than dinner, assign more kitchen staff during lunch.
  • Export the GST Summary report at month-end for your accountant — it has all tax details they need.
  • Watch for trends: Do Fridays have higher revenue? Are desserts underperforming? Use this data to optimize your menu.

Key Metrics to Monitor

  • Total Revenue: Your daily/weekly/monthly earnings
  • Average Order Value: Revenue ÷ Orders — indicates customer spending patterns
  • Payment Mode Split: % of cash vs card vs UPI — helps with cash handling and bank deposits
  • Top Categories: Which dishes bring the most profit
  • Peak Hours: When you're busiest — plan staffing and prep around this
